"I'm a person that does art." Sue has lived in Colorado since the age
of two, having ventured into other states, but always returning "home"
to Colorado with her family that includes 3 grown daughters, one
granddaughter and three cats. She graduated from Colorado Institute of
Art in 1986 and has continued her art education through the years with
hands on art classes and instruction. Sue has seen both sides of the
art industry from being an artist to owning a gallery and frame shop.
Wildlife and the environment have always been a passion for Sue.
It was this passion and her love for wolves specifically that led
her to Indigo Mountain Nature Center, where she is a volunteer. The
wolves and bears that she draws and paints are residents there and
a percentage of the proceeds from her art is donated to Indigo Mountain
Nature Center to help with the care and feeding of the animals that call
it their home.
